Boston Tea Party 2009: Walter Reddy

Walter Reddy has been a Constitutional Activist since 1970. Starting in 1970, he succeeded in collecting petitions which called for a Constitutional amendment, giving 18 year olds the right to vote, the 26th Amendment. In 1993, he collaborated with a group of 10 Constitutional activists that lobbied Hawaii legislators and got them to introduce and pass a 10th Amendment resolution. Within 2 years, more than 22 States followed with similar legislation.

Governor Rell: Federal $$ Will Help Buy 120 More Breathalyzers for State, Local Police

Drunken driving, one of the deadliest and most senseless crimes, tragically claimed 111 lives on Connecticut roads in 2008. As part of the state’s ongoing efforts to keep intoxicated drivers off the road and save lives, Governor M. Jodi Rell today announced that the state is receiving federal funds to supply state and local police patrols with 120 more breathalyzers.

Governor Rell Vetoes Both Democrat Deficit Bills

Governor M. Jodi Rell today announced she has vetoed House Bill 7101, An Act Concerning the Estate and Gift Tax, and Senate Bill 2101, An Act Concerning a Deficit Mitigation Plan for the Fiscal Year Ending June 30, 2010 , calling both bills further examples of the Democrat-controlled Legislature’s refusal to confront the reality of the state’s financial crisis by cutting spending.
